Beautiful walks, avenues, parks, monumental buildings, cafes, museums and churches gathered in 26 districts, each with its own distinct personality, gives it a truly cosmopolitan air. The northern quarter resembles the most elegant areas of Paris, May Avenue and it’s innumerable cafes houses revives the flavor of Madrid’s Gran Via, the shady Belgrano streets recall the distinguished Londoners suburb, Naples seem to be present in the noisy and colourful La Boca quarter.

Afternoon: GOLF at Buenos Aires Golf Club

Ranked 79th out of the “Best 100 Golf Courses Outside US” and top 2 in Buenos Aires, this course and it´s facilities will guarantee a great golf experience…that is of course if you are not afraid to get a little wet in all of the water hazards that line the fairways.” In its short 10 years of life, it has had the opportunity to be the host of the World Cup EMC2, in December of 2000. At that time, many of the best golfers in the world took part of the event, including Tiger Woods and David Duval. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

After breakfast, transfer to Olivos Golf Club- considered the best golf course in Argentina, it is ranked 71st on the Golf Digest´s “best golf courses outside US.” The course currently has 27 holes and it’s considered one of the best in South America for its beauty, tight fairways and fast greens. Olivos Golf has been host of international tournaments such as the Masters -first in South America- the “Abierto de la Republica”, the “copa los Andes”, among others. It has also been played by the best European and American players.

Red course holes 12 and 13 may not be so hard but they will prepare you for the great hole 15, one of the 2 holes in Argentina that are ranked between the best 500 in the world. Then you will have a breathe at 16 after you get to the 17, a par 3 with 209 yards that needs to be flown “tee to Green” or you will end up in some of its 4 bunkers. This course has hosted the Golf World Cup on 2010.

Afternoon: GOLF at Club de Campo Golf Club

Located in the department of Guaymallén, where there used to be a country house surrounded by lush olives and a privileged land, owned by Reboredo’s family. The golf course was officially opened April 2nd 1974, in the presence of Roberto de Vicenzo and Fidel de Luca.

The 18-holes course has been the stage of important events with players such as Eduardo Romero and Angel Cabrera. In spite of being a flat relief, its major difficulties are found around the greens. This wonderful scenery is full of trees and different kinds of pine trees, creating an amazing contrast with the green course and the Andes range.

Our tour today will be in a private bus, escorted by our local guide and will begin very early in the morning so that we can fully enjoy the variety of colours illuminating the mountains as the sun rises up onto the contrasting rock formations.

We will take the National Route 7 towards the mendocinian west. Mendoza River will be next to us during the whole tour. After a few kilometers, we will get to see “the Potrerillos dam”, which is the supplier of the purest water to drink as well as that used for irrigation in Mendoza city.

Later we will visit “Uspallata’s Valley”, located 100 km away from Mendoza (where the movie “Seven years in Tibet” with Brad Pitt was filmed). We will continue driving along the Mendoza River Canyon, and on the way pass in front of Penitentes which is a ski resort on the Argentinean side. Next we will stop at the “Inca Bridge”. This yellow reddish stone bridge has been created by nature!

Our next stop will be at the Aconcagua Provincial Park to admire the highest mountain of America and the southern hemisphere: 6.962 mts high. Then we will continue our drive to the border which is located at 3.200 mt (10.500 ft).

We will get to the International Tunnel that officiates as limit with Chile. During the trip, we will stop at El Portillo” Hotel, world famous ski resort, and the best restaurant in the high mountain area. – Arrival in Santiago City in the Afternoon.

Founded in 1880, Viña Santa Rita is a prosperous and award winning wine producer with worldwide exports and some of the best Chilean wines. Our visit is a trip around the History of Chile and its Wine. A guided tour through the vineyards, starting at the wineries and finishing at the wine bottling process.

Visit the historic Bodega 1 made of “cal y canto” and the famous “Bodega de los 120 patriotas”, nowadays, a national treasure. The tour finishes with an amazing wine tasting moment of our Aged Wines and Lunch at the Foot of the Andes!

A 36 hole course, the Valley course and the Mountain Course…this last one is a par 72, following international standards, it’s a beautiful layout, wild in its environment and very demanding for players. The fairways are uneven, there are waist bunkers, cross bunkers, bunkers, fast greens with plenty of movement and holes with lagoons, all putting to the test even the most distinguished in the discipline. This circuit offers a very unique characteristic: it can be approached without wind, for when wind comes, it becomes another course.

Challenging indeed. The Valley Circuit, par 72, is a layout designed to enjoy golf with quality fairways and greens allowing golfers from every skill level to achieve good rounds. Its broad fairways, its few and low roughs and soft hills, allow good shooting positions

This beautiful course of 18 holes, par 72, has 7.323 yds. design by Mike Asmundson ( Asmundson & Company, Inc ), was built in 1998. The first nine holes, (Loma Larga) are flat and goes from West to East, this means that has a lot of wind that you have to consider in your game. The second nine holes (Cerro Colorado), are a little bit hilly and less windy, as it surrounds the Cerro Colorado. The course has only three lagoons, a very big driving range with a nice snack in between the 9 and 10. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from the hotel to begin the exploration to the nearby ruins: the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a colossal structure of enormous stones, carved and fitte together with incredible precision; Qenqo, the religious center; we will enjoy a panoramic view of Puca-Pucara, the red fortress and then we will visit Tambomachay with their water fountains. Afterwards, our tour continues in the Imperial City, we will stroll through the Main Square, where we will discover the Cathedral and admire its exquisite vestibules and priceless paintings from the Cusco School of the 17th and 18th centuries. We will continue with a visit to one of the most impressive buildings of Incan Cusco: the Qoricancha (the Golden Temple) – a temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, whose interior walls were said to have been covered in gold.

Afternoon at Leisure – Overnight at Monasterio Hotel

Today we will visit the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu aboard a comfortable train Vistadome service, we will depart to the Aguas Calientes Train Station, enjoying a spectacular view along the way. Upon arrival, we will board a bus that will take us to the entrance gate of the Machu Picchu citadel.

Rediscovered by Hiram Bingham more than a century ago, Machu Picchu is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Its architectural beauty, spectacular natural landscapes and the energy held in its enigmatic structures will take our breath away. We will follow in the footsteps of the ancient Incas as we explore this magical citadel.
