I did not choose this tour, my wife chose it for me. It was absolutely great and the fact that I have played (badly) on Royal Birkdale, Hoylake, Royal Lytham, Turnbery, Troon, Carnoustie and the Old Course will live with me as long as my level of dementia allows. Apart from the great pleasure of the day at the course, it will enhance the pleasure of watching future opens at the various courses played. The people, organisation, transport and accommodation were all first class and the group became quickly a cohesive and fun event.
