ARRIVE AUCKLAND
Monday
18th March, 2024
On arrival at Auckland International Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred by private vehicle to Te Arai Links (approx. 90 mins)
Positioned alongside a pristine New Zealand coastline, Te Arai Links promises to be a world class golf destination. Boasting two pure links golf courses designed by Tom Doak and the other by Bill Coore & Ben Crenshaw. While only a short trip north of New Zealand’s largest city, you’ll find yourself in another world – surrounded by trees, sand dunes and coastal views over one of the country’s most stunning, white sand, surf beaches.
STAY: TE ARAI LINKS (2 Nights, Super King Suite, and full breakfast)
The property borders one of New Zealand’s prime surf beaches. The Suites at Te Arai Links are luxurious, offering 45m2 (484sf) of beautifully appointed space with contemporary details. The Suites overlook The South Course and in some instances provide views of the Pacific Ocean and islands beyond.
Dinner: Own arrangements
Pre-Tour DAY 2:
GOLF—TE ARAI LINKS SOUTH COURSE
Tuesday
19th March, 2024
Te AraI Links—South Course (walking course only)
Te Arai’s landforms vary from heaving sand ridges and meandering valleys to rumpled contours reminiscent of the classic seaside links on which the game began. These contours are the foundation and inspiration for the golf holes of Te Arai Links. The holes are as varied in appearance and character as the land itself.
The 18 hole, par 72 South golf course has been designed as a traditional walking links golf experience, set over 36 hectares (90 acres) of turf, across the property’s natural rolling sand dunes. All 18 holes have spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, with Little Barrier Island and the Hen and Chicks Islands in the background. The South Course offers a variety of tees for all players of all abilities. We encourage novices and experts to enjoy the challenge and have fun.
Evening: own arrangements
Pre-Tour DAY 3:
GOLF—TE ARAI LINKS NORTH COURSE
Wednesday
20th March, 2024
Te Arai Links—North Course (walking course only)
The North Course starts and finishes on the ocean, but the unique character of the course will be found inland. The green of the par-4 5th hole, and the next tee, sit high on a ridge adjacent to an ancient Māori Pa, or hill fortress, built from the largest dune on the property, while the 4th, 6th, 7th and 9th greens sit in a shared bowl amongst the dunes.
Possibly the most dramatic holes on the course will be the 11th and 13th. The former is a long par-5 with an elevated green and a ‘whirlpool’ hazard to the right, some seven meters below the green. The 13th is a long par-4 with its green at the edge of a huge natural bunker, so that second shots have to be played over the sand or safely around to the left. It’s a hole very reminiscent of Pine Valley in New Jersey, and indeed so is much of the inland terrain at Te Arai.
Upon completion of your round, Hallmark Limousines will transfer you to your Auckland city hotel to meet up with the main tour group.

Founded in 1909, it is a private members club but offers limited playing opportunities for New Zealand and overseas visitors. Titirangi is regarded as one of New Zealand’s top courses and is the only one in the country designed by Dr. Alister MacKenzie. MacKenzie’s designs are notable for their sensitivity to the nature of the original site and he is admired for producing holes that offer an ideal balance of risk and reward. After designing Titirangi in 1927, MacKenzie went on to design some of the world’s top courses including Augusta, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne.
Consistently ranked as one of New Zealand’s top courses, currently ranked Auckland’s No. 1 course.

This could be the quietest course ever with the only sounds from the protected native birds and the echo of club on ball. Gorgeous golf holes here wind their way one after the other through deep native bush.
After golf, your driver will transfer the group back to your hotel, or stop off for a wander round Taupo.
Afternoon: at leisure
