Day 1
31st March 2023

Check in to your hotel – Hyatt Place Raleigh Durham Airport

After your long flight, check in and stay in the very comfortable Hyatt Place Hotel. This is a good one-night stay to ease into the holiday, relax, and recoup before your transfer to Pinehurst the next morning where the excitement really begins.

Day 2
1st April 2023

Group transport from RDU to Pinehurst Resort (approx. 90 mins)

Stay: Experience true Southern hospitality at Pinehurst Resort, one of the pre-eminent golf resorts in the United States. At Pinehurst you will be staying in the beautiful Carolina Hotel, a majestic century-old hotel dubbed the “Queen of the South”.

Your first day of golf is at the very impressive Pinehurst No. 9. Jack Nicklaus constructed a masterpiece set amidst the majestic long leaf pines. This 18-hole championship layout features classic Nicklaus architecture: wide fairways, lush course conditions and undulating putting surfaces that test your mind and your true golfing ability. Pinehurst No. 9 is a magnificent course and each hole has been customized to create a great diversity in the way it can be played.

Evening: Join your tour leaders in the iconic Ryder Cup Bar for a drink and to meet the other guests on tour. A great opportunity to unwind, laugh and reminisce on what putts cost you your game.

Day 3
2nd April 2023

The second round of some of the most memorable golf in your life is with us at Pinehurst No.2. Known as one of the best championship golf courses in the world, No. 2 proves the golfing genius of Donald Ross on every hole. Host to the 1999, 2005 and 2014 US Open, the course is simply astonishing. For those of you who haven’t played on a course of this standard, it will be a very special day for you no matter how well you play.

It is truly invigorating for golfers of any age, skill or experience. A caddie is also provided for your convenience, so you get the “professional” experience of hitting off the tee, passing your club to your caddie and strolling off up the fairway!

Evening: Join your Host for the official tour Welcome Dinner (drinks included). It is always a memorable night, and a lot of fun with new found friends. After playing up an appetite through the day, no better way to close the day.

Day 4
3rd April 2023

After testing yourself on No 2 the day before, we then progress to the exciting Pinehurst No. 4. This is one of our favourites. This is an extraordinary course, that Golf Magazine referred to as the “best new course you can play”.

Many formal bunkers merge into adjacent native-sand areas that were handplanted with wispy wiregrass and clumpy broom sage, nearly always at the low end of the bunker. This gives the impression of giant sugar bowls tipped over. This will test your golf, which is always what we want.

Afternoon: Following golf you will be transferred to Aiken, SC by luxury coach (approx. 3.5 hours). Aiken is simply stunning with its tree lined streets and is known as the “Polo Capital of the South”. Only 30 minutes to Augusta, it comes to life during Masters week. The place is a buzz and the bars and restaurants are full of locals making the golf visitors feel welcome!

Evening: This is a great night with our welcome to Aiken social BBQ & Drinks, all included as part of the tour.

STAY: Carriage House Inn, Aiken (7 Nights)

The historic inn underwent an extensive renovation and expansion project which was completed in 2016.  While the facilities were all lovingly updated, the property has maintained it’s famous Southern Charm.  The Inn provides guests with unique luxuries, opulent bedrooms, private bathrooms, as well as a full breakfast each morning.  Conveniently located in Aiken’s  historic “downtown” area close to restaurants, bars and shops.

Day 5
4th April 2023

Morning: 8:00am departure for your much anticipated first day, the Practice Day at the Masters. Even those of you shaking off jet lag you will be wide awake for this.

This is a great chance to take photos of the course and players, as cameras are not permitted during the tournament days. Please note that iPhones etc. are not allowed inside Augusta National at any time, so please pack a traditional camera.

Our insider tip is that today is also the best day to shop for souvenirs as some may run out by the end of the week. We highly recommend you buy a souvenir Masters chair which can be placed anywhere on the course and will remain vacant until you return to them – a great Masters tradition.

For some fun today you are advised to spend some time at the Par 3, 16th hole as players try to skip the ball over the pond and onto the green. Always a laugh.

4-7pm: It is a casual walk back to our Augusta hospitality zone. The TV is showing highlights, everyone is on a high and you will enjoy complimentary drinks and delicious canapés with your hosts and friends. Discuss the day’s highlights and your first day at Augusta.

Regular transfers are also provided back to your hotel from 4:30pm until 7:30pm for you ease.

Evening: This evening is yours to enjoy. If you would like a little guidance as to where to go and what to do just let us know and we can help. As the week gets busier we would recommend booking at one of our favourite restaurants, which we can help you with.

Day 6
5th April 2023

DAY 6: GOLF AT PALMETTO (including Cart and light Lunch)

Morning: 7:00am start the day with a fully cooked breakfast cooked at your hotel.

Then we move on to Palmetto GC for some great golf – established in 1872 the golf course is steeped in history, is a par 71 layout and plays at 6,713 yards from the championship tees. What the course may lack in length, it certainly more than makes up for with its small elevated and undulating greens, and clever bunkers. It is hard not to truly respect this impressive course.

The course was re-designed by Alistair McKenzie just after he completed Augusta, so we play here so you can have a taste of what it may be like to play Augusta. Whilst it doesn’t have the uber luxurious clubhouse and surroundings like many private American courses, it makes up for it with history and challenge.

A light lunch is included at the club after your golf so you can talk through the highlight of the round.

OPTIONAL ALTERNATIVE – Masters Practice & Legends Par 3

Or if you are looking for something different, today you can elect head to Augusta to watch players practice before viewing the traditional Par 3 Contest at the Masters in the afternoon. Within the grounds of Augusta, there is a picturesque 11-hole Par 3 golf course. This is pure and simply a fun afternoon watching some of the legends of the game as well as many of the rising starts having a relaxing game before the serious play begins.

The Par 3 usually starts at 12:00pm.

Evening: This evening is yours to enjoy. If you would like a little guidance as to where to go and what to do just let us know and we can help.

Day 7
6th April 2023

Few towns in the Southeast offer more gracious charm than Aiken, South Carolina. Aiken is simply stunning, at a great place for you first night on tour. Known as the “polo capital of the South”, it’s a place where horses still have right of way and diverse southern history can be viewed through its beautiful historic homes and museums. A very relaxing way to unwind and rest after a few days of golf.

Take a relaxing stroll through Aiken’s tree-lined streets, a few photo opportunities await as do perhaps a few southern horses. If you are looking for something in particular, just let us know and we can help.

An option round of golf is available if you would like (additional cost dependant on course)

Evening: Join us for our First Round Happy Hour at the Carriage House Inn. The first round of the Masters will be on TV. It is a great venue to relax on the back balcony and have a few drinks to catch-up on the day of leisure. (Complimentary food and drinks are included)

Day 8
7th April 2023

8:00am & 10:00am depart to Augusta

Now the action really begins. Today you attend the second day’s tournament play at the Masters. Follow your favourite group around the course or place your deck chair at Amen Corner and watch all the groups come through. Head towards the 18th as players attempt to make the cut. You will already feel the tension rising and buzz in the air.

4-7pm: Happy Hour at our Augusta hospitality zone. Great way to celebrate your first day of real action and adsorb in the atmosphere of it all. Regular transfers are provided back to your hotel from 4:30pm until 30 minutes after the end of play at Augusta.

Evening: This evening is yours to enjoy. As always, if you would like a little guidance as to where to go and what to do just let us know and we can help.

Day 9
8th April 2023

DAY 9: GOLF AT THE RESERVE (including Cart & Lunch at the Clubhouse)

The essence of the private Reserve Golf Club is the superb Nicklaus designed golf course featuring a beautiful layout on lush land with a dozen species of hardwoods and evergreens. The lakes are breathtaking as you skirt the edges.

It is hard to ignore the opulence, of the luxury pool, tennis courts, manicured gardens and lots of timber and leather, of this southern style plantation golf clubhouse. Seen to be believed.

Lunch is included after your golf and we will have you back at your hotel in time to watch the TV coverage that starts at 3pm.

Today you may elect to add on Saturday Tickets to witness famous “Moving Day” at Augusta National as the competitors set themselves up for the Final Round.

Players who are well back in the field, still have the opportunity to surge towards the leaders. The crowd atmosphere during these moves up the leader board is great fun.

Evening: A complimentary Farewell & Golf Presentation Dinner and Drinks is provided by Teed-Up at the stunning Willcox Hotel. We are either by the pool, or in a beautiful and exclusive private dining area.

This is a lot of fun and an opportunity for everyone to really connect with new-found friends, reflect on the golf and good times throughout the week. This also is where we all get excited before the Final Round of the Masters the following day.

Day 10
9th April 2023

6:00, 8:00 and 10:00am departures to Augusta for US Masters Final Round.

Attend the final day’s play of the US Masters Tournament. As soon as you get there, place your chair around the 18th green or fairway so you will be able to see the climax of the tournament. Wander the fairways following the leaders or base yourself at the 16th where Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas both scored a hole-in-one in 2019.

This is a day to remember.

4-7pm: Happy Hour at our hospitality zone. Final day is always a lot of excitement and an opportunity to share in your opinion as to the ‘moment’ of the year, or what cost who in the end.

Shuttles will go regularly from 4:30pm. The last shuttle returning to Aiken from the Masters will be 30 minutes after the Green Jacket presentation which is held on the practise putting green outside the clubhouse. This is something every golfer enjoys seeing with their own eyes, and a great way to close out your tour.

Evening: This evening is yours to enjoy. Last night worth connecting with your new-found friends. As always, if you would like a little guidance as to where to go and what to do just let us know and we can help.

Day 11
10th April 2023

After an amazing week of golf on some of the world’s best courses and US Masters action, today you will be transferred from Aiken to Atlanta International Airport (approx. 2.5 hours drive). The coach will pick you up at 9:00am.

Please make sure you book flights that leave between 2pm – 5pm from Atlanta airport. You will need to book a private transfer to Atlanta at additional cost for flights leaving outside these times.
