Founded in 1780, Royal Aberdeen is recognised as one of the oldest golf clubs in the world. Its Balgownie Course follows the Aberdeenshire coastline through a succession of impressive dunes and demanding natural terrain.
Originally designed by the Simpson brothers and later refined by James Braid, the course is known for its historic character, strategic bunkering and challenging opening stretch. It offers a traditional links test in one of Scottish golf’s most established settings.
