The Nicklaus Course forms half of the 36-hole Legend Danang Golf Resort (the other half being the Norman Course). Built on sandy coastal terrain near Da Nang's famed beaches, the Nicklaus Course stretches 7,380 yards from the back tees. Jack Nicklaus II's design features generous fairways, large, undulating greens and shaped bunkering, with natural waste areas cut directly from the sand dunes. Water hazards are restrained but appear strategically on several holes.
The course has two distinct nine-hole loops (C and D) that combine to form the Nicklaus Course. The front nine (C course) opens with a medium par-4 followed by a long par-3 and a par-5; the back nine (D course) includes two par-5s and a reachable par-4 for birdie opportunities. Fairways are lined with long needle pines and the lack of out-of-bounds encourages strategic shot selection rather than raw power. With multiple tee options and moderate rough, the course is playable for resort golfers while still challenging for low handicappers.
