Hacienda Chicureo's 18-hole course lies about 30 minutes north of Santiago. Mike Asmundson created two contrasting nines: the front nine (Loma Larga) is built on gently undulating ground that runs west-to-east. These holes are mostly flat and exposed to the wind, making club selection critical. The back nine (Cerro Colorado) climbs around the Cerro Colorado hillside and is more contoured and sheltered from the wind. Only three lagoons come into play and there is a huge driving range with a snack bar between holes 9 and 10.
