Located in the hills northwest of Osaka, Daitakarazuka Golf Club (also known as Dai-Takarazuka) offers a unique mix of four 9-hole loops. All were designed by Ronald Fream in the late 1970s and can be combined to create varied 18-hole rounds. Each loop plays to a par of 36 and features tree-lined fairways, moderate elevation changes and strategically placed ponds and bunkers.
The Takarazuka and Nishinomiya nines are generally considered the championship routing, stretching over 6,700 yards when combined and offering the highest degree of difficulty. The Ashiya nine winds through forest and presents more dog-legs, while the Rokko nine is shorter and more open, appealing to higher-handicap golfers.
