Buenos Aires Golf Club is one of Argentina's most celebrated modern courses. Architect Robert von Hagge laid out three distinct nine-hole loops—Green, Yellow and Blue—on gently undulating parkland just west of Buenos Aires. The design adopts an American-style aesthetic uncommon in Argentina, with steep hills, pampas grass, undulating greens and numerous lakes. Slopes and wind require constant adjustment, and the course has very few trees, so water hazards and bunkers are its primary defences.
