Michael Mosher – Director of Golf
Mike has been a AAA rated golf professional for the last 15 years and is a multi-awarded PGA Golf Professional with extensive experience playing not only throughout Australasia but in Canada & Japan.
Mike had over twelve years’ experience managing golf clubs before joining Teed Up.
8 years were spent as Director of Golf (Golf Professional & GM ) at Mount Broughton Country Club, during this period he advised the club on course upgrades which saw the course ranking increase significantly. His staff provided service second to none and he was able to increase new Membership & Corporate play significantly.
During the period, he worked closely with the 5-Star Resort in developing one of Australia’s Top 100 golf courses.
Mike works closely with our Travel team to ensure we are playing the best golf courses on our tours and these are often hidden gems that he has discovered using his golf professional network. Mike is a very popular Tour Leader and always ensures every client has the best possible time when they tour with us.
Bede Hendren, Managing Director (B.Arts, Masters Business Studies)
Bede has spent the past fifteen years establishing and growing his own businesses in the Human Resources and the Travel and Tourism industry.
He is currently the owner and Manager Director of Teed-Up Golf, a company that specializes in organizing corporate golf days and golf tours around Australia and overseas. Teed Up was established in 2003 and has quickly grown to become Australia’s largest outbound and inbound golf tour operator hosting over 3000 golfers every year to destinations around Australia and internationally including US Masters, British Open and US Open tournaments.
Prior to establishing Teed Up, Bede was a Director of Porterallen Hendren, one of Sydney’s largest privately owned recruitment companies. He established another recruitment company in 1996 that merged to form Porterallen Hendren. Prior to this Bede spent seven years with Westpac in Senior Human Resources positions. These included Executive Manager, HR for Retail and Business Banking in Australia, and Graduate Recruitment Manager for Westpac NZ. Bede holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business Studies (majoring in Human Resources) from Massey University in NZ.
Bede is a member at Long Reef Golf Club and plays off a handicap of 14 on a good day!

Our management team has significant experience in the golf industry. The Teed Up organisation was established to develop niches in Golf Travel, Golf Retail and Golf Infrastructure and has been involved in Golf Club Management since 2003, when it was approached to take over the marketing and administration of Club 19.
Club 19 is a business networking golf club that in 2003 had declining membership and was losing money. In the seven years that we have been running the organisation we have delivered some astounding results, including implementing new marketing initiatives and doubling members in an 18 month period. Today, the club is profitable and well regarded and has contributed significantly to our goal of providing great experiences for golfers of all level.
In 2007 we commenced (and continue to manage) the golf operations at Long Reef Golf Club. We oversee all competition management, starting duties and day to day operations of the pro shop including collecting green fees and hiring carts on behalf of the club. We are responsible for marketing the club to corporate clients, potential new members, public players and social groups.
In 2014 we were appointed after a competitive tender by Pittwater Council to manage the Pittwater Golf Centre driving range and 36 hole mini golf facility.
Of course our expertise and experience is not limited to the life of Teed Up. For example Michael Mosher who is our Director of Golf played on the Australasian Golf Tour for ten years before moving into golf course management. His broad experience as the GM of the private Mt Broughton GC and the public Bowral Country Club allows him to assess options of all types of facilities.
